Semi Dry Riesling

White Wine

this Riesling bursts with a fresh, fruit cocktail of peach, apricot, nectarine and apples. While it starts off sweet, it finishes dry with crisp acidity. Pair it with loin of pork, Asian foods - especially Chinese, Thai or Indian - and Cajun or Tex-Mex dishes.

The 2021 Riesling Semi-Dry comes in with 38 grams of residual sugar and 6.5 of total acidity, plus 10.2% alcohol. The acidity doesn't quite hold up to the sugar onslaught here, but if you like them on the sweeter side, this certainly has classic Riesling aromas and flavors. It is also, seemingly, a bit flabby. As it airs and warms, it goes nowhere and becomes less interesting. This showed better closer to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit than 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Drink it with a nice chill. It should hold for the rest of the decade, more or less, but there is no real reason to wait.
